The Pre-Construction Phase Plan (PCPP) is the foundation from which the health and safety management of the construction phase of a project needs to be based, and forms part of the tender documentation to appoint a principle contractor, under the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999
The construction phase plan (CPP) records arrangements for managing significant health and safety risks associated with the construction of the project, and is the basis for communicating those arrangements to those involved in the construction phase.
What is a Construction Phase Plan?
It should be:
1. Be relevant to the project.
2. Record the health and safety arrangements and site rules for the construction phase of the project.
3. Be appropriate for the scale and complexity of the work to be undertaken, considering the risks involved.
Site Visits.
Our USP is that before our site visit we will ask for a copy of your PCPP or CPP(Pre Construction & Construction Phase Plans) and ensure this is covered within our audit, checking your compliance with your own commitments to safety as well as the guidance and regulations within our audit.
Will can advise and work with your Site Managers to encourage and help them develop a positive safety culture within their work place.
We will produce a comprehensive report of the findings and send to the responsible person for safety, so they can action, file and review.
Any urgent issues will be discussed, recorded and left onsite, with the site manager, as well as communicated to the responsible person.
We can also attend and assist with Tool box talks
